Choose FIVE aphorisms you like, write them down, MEMORIZE them and think about why you like them. Bring your list to class.

Go to this website and choose / watch a video that you are interested in. Take notes and prepare a short talk.
Go to dreamreader.net and choose a suitable level (at least „Intermediate“). Choose a topic you are interested in. First listen WITHOUT reading anything. Then read the text and do the quiz. Finally, as usual, prepare a short talk about your text.
Great TED Talks illuminate an idea. Sometimes, they do it while making you laugh. These talks will bring a smile to your face.
Go to TED, choose a talk you are interested in and watch it. If necessary, activate English (!) subtitles and/or the „interactive transcript“. As usual prepare a short talk.
