If you belong to the peo\u00adp\u00adle who play simu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon games becau\u00adse you think you can actual\u00adly learn some\u00adthing for real life by doing this, it\u2019s time to brace yours\u00adelf now: I have been play\u00ading the famous game \u201cSims\u201d for seve\u00adral years now and still find it gre\u00adat, but it pres\u00adents a com\u00adple\u00adte\u00adly unrea\u00adli\u00adstic and ide\u00adal world. This game is like a digi\u00adtal doll\u00adhouse in which it\u2019s your job to direct humans cal\u00adled \u201cSims\u201d (like \u201csim-ula\u00adti\u00adon\u201d) through their life from todd\u00adler age to death.<\/p>\n

One gre\u00adat merit of this game is that you can almost do wha\u00adte\u00adver you want. From chan\u00adging the hair\u00adco\u00adlor of your Sims to desig\u00adning the pat\u00adtern of your seats in the living room, you can add, edit and chan\u00adge almost ever\u00ady\u00adthing. So within cer\u00adtain limits the game helps to igni\u00adte and expand your creativity.<\/p>\n

But it does\u00adn\u2019t help you at all to learn some\u00adthing useful. Ear\u00adning money in your job, for exam\u00adp\u00adle, is far too easy. You get pro\u00admo\u00adted pret\u00adty fast; one day, you work as a secre\u00adta\u00adry and the next day, you beco\u00adme the lea\u00adder of your busi\u00adness, which is com\u00adple\u00adte\u00adly unrealistic.<\/p>\n

The best way to beco\u00adme best fri\u00adends with a stran\u00adger, is to talk seve\u00adral times to him or her. Then you pro\u00adceed with things like admi\u00adring your vic\u00adtim until you start hug\u00adging him for three times \u2013 then your job here is done and the two Sims who at first did\u00adn\u2019t even know each other\u2019s names are best fri\u00adends for life and pro\u00adba\u00adb\u00adly on their way to get married.<\/p>\n

All in all this gen\u00adre of simu\u00adla\u00adti\u00adon games is more about fun than actual\u00adly tea\u00adching you about real life. Alt\u00adhough it may arou\u00adse your ima\u00adgi\u00adna\u00adti\u00adon and crea\u00adti\u00advi\u00adty, the unrea\u00adli\u00adstic aspects are pre\u00addo\u00admi\u00adnant.
