It seems that the focus has shifted from being able to think on your own to being able to memo\u00adri\u00adze a lot of infor\u00adma\u00adti\u00adon. This par\u00adro\u00adting might work in school but once con\u00adfron\u00adted with new pro\u00adblems, stu\u00addents will have a much har\u00adder time hand\u00adling them, becau\u00adse they were not taught how to think by themselves.<\/p>\n Child\u00adren should be taught cer\u00adtain pat\u00adterns to sol\u00adve pro\u00adblems. This can be done by prac\u00adti\u00adcing simi\u00adlar things, giving them an approach to mul\u00adti\u00adple tasks which can\u00adnot be achie\u00adved through simp\u00adle memorization.<\/p>\n A lot of stu\u00addents have adopted a wrong way of lear\u00adning. In most cases ever\u00ady\u00adthing is revi\u00adsed the week befo\u00adre a test and the result of this is that things are not stu\u00addi\u00aded to be remem\u00adbe\u00adred, but rather to be repro\u00addu\u00adced. The pro\u00adblem is that ever\u00ady\u00adthing is for\u00adgot\u00adten again in a mat\u00adter of days and is the\u00adr\u00ade\u00adfo\u00adre of vir\u00adtual\u00adly no use.<\/p>\n Final\u00adly most child\u00adren are unfort\u00adu\u00adna\u00adte\u00adly moti\u00adva\u00adted by gra\u00addes and not the pro\u00adcess of lear\u00adning its\u00adelf. They are rare\u00adly asked what they lear\u00adned when they get home from a day of school. It\u2019s usual\u00adly only the gra\u00addes that count. This gives the impres\u00adsi\u00adon that it\u2019s not at all important what one is inte\u00adres\u00adted in, only what has been achie\u00adved. The result is a vicious cir\u00adcle of demotivation.<\/p>\n School will always have to be revi\u00adsed and adapt\u00aded so that child\u00adren are able to use their acqui\u00adred know\u00adledge best in adult\u00adhood.
